Hurricane Rachel is now forecasted to hit the US/Baja coast on Sunday as a cat 1 and might just head right on up into Utah/Nevada.

With little to no inflows, we have abandoned our guess the peak thread. Would be fun to have a guess the rise from this post tropical storm. I’m going to guess 37 inch rise from Saturday’s report to the next Saturday.
The local weather is finally taking this potential weather event a little more seriously. They’re now saying expect an inch of rain at least and winds up to 30.
