Water Temperature

Is the data chart correct? Is the water temperature still only 70 degrees? Are there any other sources available online for water temperature?

I was just swimming in the lake last week. I didn’t have a thermometer, but it’s got to be way warmer than 70...

I can confirm as of today that two separate thermometer readings show water temps in the 70-71 range early in the morning increasing to 75 range by afternoon. It is much cooler the normal this time of year. This was up Padre Canyon.

And I was swimming in relatively shallow water in Fiftymile and Willow up the Escalante, so that's why it felt warmer there...

The water is cool enough that it is not comfortable to just hang out floating on a noodle in the afternoon for more than 10-15 minutes!

Just got back a few hours ago -- Water temp varies from 72F to 75F -- actually a tad cooler today then Wednesday
