I LOVE your video!! I got a text this morning that I was in the video... I was like, "what video??" So I enjoyed every minute of it. Beautifully done! A pic of Paul Ostapuk, myself, and my husband showed up at 7:20 to :26. It was a shot of Cathedral in the Desert, taken by Dave Tate back in April of 2005. That pic has been making rounds on the internet for a while now. And, the Trash Tracker showed up at 10:30! Nice to see!

Thank you for sharing with us, and I can't wait to see what you post next!
Tiff :)
Wow! Great to put some names behind the Cathedral in the Desert photo. I remember when I was looking for photos when I was preparing my presentation that I initially found a low resolution version of your photo in an article and then hunted for a higher resolution version for the slide show so it is definitely out there. The water elevation on that trip was perfect for a kayaker to get into the canyon above the waterfall. I was able to kayak in a few inches of water, land and hike up. But it was too shallow for boats unless they just offloaded people and had someone wait on the lake for their return. I took two panoramas back then. One was from the landing area and the other from the knoll adjacent to the waterfall drop point. Here are the links:

This year I took one from the bottom. Now it looks more like when you had your photo taken.

On this last visit, some people Elle met told me about a unique campsite at the current water level. They were going to beach their houseboat up Fifty Mile Creek canyon at Gregory Bridge but, by the time they returned, someone beat them to the spot. Regardless, the water elevation us such that there is now a small opening under Gregory Bridge that a kayaker or swimmer can get through so I did and camped on the up creek side. Had the place to myself! Nobody else could get through.

Kekus, thanks so much for the pics.....Elle is adorable....but you know that....she looks like she's got a lot on her mind.....:cool:

Was the boat under the bridge in the pic able to make it thru?

No. There was maybe four feet of clearance so only kayakers, paddle boarders on their knees, and very small boats could make it under the bridge.

Elle's biggest worry is who she is going to convince to pet her next.
