I mentioned in the fish report and often state that water color is clear or stained, or muddy. I think we all can visualize beautiful clear water and muddy water. Green water or stained water may need a bit more explanation. We did our best fishing yesterday in the green water between muddy and clear. Here is a picture of that water color. The boil was a bit shallower and water was a bit muddier than pictured here.

Wayne, did you go all the way up to GHB?

And, by the way, I REELY am glad the reports are back. COME ON SPRING!

Of course I went all the way to GHB* That green colored water is the key for spring anglers to find fish. Find mud and then turn around to fish at the interface between brown and green for the best option to catch fish in March-May.

*[I did not say exactly when I was in GHB but I am reely glad you asked]!
