Our annual Man Trip concluded on the 11th of May. From May 5 thru 10 we caught 45 walleye and hundreds of smallmouth and a few largemouth. We parked the houseboat at the entrance to Last Chance on the right side. From there we fished Friendship (no good), Dove (fair), coves in Last Chance near the entrance( great), West Canyon (so so), Rock Creek (good for Walleye), entrance to Rock Creek on right side (good), Gregory Butte ( good in areas). Ned rig with green color. Basically a half a senko Texas rigged. Weather was good until Tuesday aft. Worked our way through rain, hail and wind but fish continued to bite. I think the cloudy weather helped the walleye bite. Most walleye bit on the retrieve. Did have 2 that fished exclusively for walleye with bottom bouncers and night crawlers. Water temp was 65 to 68 Saturday through Tuesday and dropped to 63 on Wed through Friday. Great trip.
