Walk to Rainbow Bridge

Touring the lake next weekend with folks who haven't been there for a number of years, so RB visit on the itinerary. They asked about hiking distance at current water level/dock location. I said, "a ways" but that didn't satisfy their curiosity even though everyone is able to hike miles. So, anybody know time or distance? TIA!

Lake is higher so walk is shorter. My guess is less than 30 minutes one way.

My wife thought that with great runoff this year water would be under the bridge. I said, honey, you are still living in the 80's!

Just hiked RB Thurs, within a minute or so after stepping onto shore you’re already passing through the repaired trail section that washed out a few years ago.

15-20 minutes each way, nice!

When the lake was at its high point in 2017 it took about 20 min if you walked and didn’t stop. Most people stop along the way to enjoy the view and take pics.

So I’d set aside 40 min up, and 20 min to get back.

Yes we are. Kids jumped into the lake from the ledge under the bridge.
