The Stateline webcam is back up again for the first time in months, and is showing construction activity on Stateline Auxiliary:

Drove down to South end ramps for a pre-run this morning (launching tomorrow, Tuesday).

Wahweap was running smoothly this morning around 10 am, no line to speak of…so glad we can launch tomorrow. Things can always be worse (think GCNRA shut downs for Federal budget issues and the virus) so no complaints here.

Stateline Aux is a beehive of activity, counted no less than 8 pieces of heavy equipment going hard at it. Excavator, dozer, grader, loaders, dump trucks and water truck. Excellent progress every day, shouldn’t be long now.

Will try to capture some pics from the water this week if we have time (and fuel remaining) after our Escalante trip.

Looks like Aramark has moved all of the houseboats out of the buoy field off the Stateline Auxiliary ramp. They must be expecting it to be in use soon.

It's a temporary solution while Stateline auxiliary is reconstructed.

Thanks for the reply. It makes sense to allow emergency pull outs, rather than dealing with a salvage situation.

We pulled our 65 footer dry storage boat before the main ramps closed mid season because we were afraid of a water intrusion issue in both Bravo 2s. We didn't want to be stranded with water coming in through bad seals. That decision was made before these old/new ramps were available for use.

The buoy field by the Stateline Auxiliary ramp has been cleared of most of the boats. Maybe those are the ones being retrieved at the Wahweap Auxiliary ramp. If Aramark starts launching boats at the Wahweap Auxiliary ramp, that would indicate some special exemption for Aramark.

Yes very impressive project, there’s even a temporary quarry set up on the corner across from Stateline next to Wahweap Marine Service Center.
