Wahweap Main ramp: Closed to launching houseboats immediately & retrieval of houseboats in a week

Ever seen the big overhead gantry cranes that run on railroad tracks, like at container ports and rail yards?

Antelope Valet Ramp has those high walls that could support a similar system. Drive the trailer as close to the water as possible, then have a mobile gantry type crane sling the boat, carry the boat to deep water, and then float the boat out of the sling and away. I'm no engineer, but Antelope doesn't have the luxury of extending any of their ramps by another 1/4 mile to chase the water, like Wahweap.

I think we need to get to know these guys Screenshot_20210719-142130_Samsung Internet.png
That could launch clear down to dead pool.

I remember the marina that I use to launch at on the Mississippi used a launching device much like they use to
take shipping crates off the railroad box cars. They used straps to cradle the large cruisers and it rolled down a ramp out into potter lake to launch them for the season and then retrieved them in the fall placing them on railroad ties in dry dock. It was a huge machine.

After checking their website it's described as a 35ton travel lift, similar to this, pretty cool in action.

Would love to see some Extreme Engineering ideas to solve this launch/retrieve dilemma
Hoists Skyhooks. launch track vehicles. flotation ramps. Sure there would be crazy ideas, but way better than reality tv!!

how many barrels to float a 23’ cuddy- with trailer of course?
