I am getting conflicting information as to whether 3rd party services (like UHS) can perform houseboat repairs/services for my houseboat slipped at Antelope Point Marina.

I know Antelope Yacht Services (AYS) has been replaced by Antelope Point Executive Services (APEX) effective last month.

Does APEX have exclusive service rights at APM or are 3rd party vendors from Page now able to also do work at Antelope Point Marina (similar to Wahweap's setup)??

It makes sense that you are hearing conflicting stories about this as I'm not sure final decisions have been made about this subject, or at least the final decisions are yet to be announced publicly.

Based upon information provided at a meeting in SLC nine days ago, APM management stated that APEX was the exclusive service provider at APM, but another meeting attendee stated that they were told directly by NPS that a letter removing this exclusivity and thus allowing 3rd party vendors to service APM boats was "in the mail" - meaning that exclusivity was ending soon. APM management's response was that APEX was the exclusive provider as of that day.

I've also heard there are some last minute maneuvering that APM is doing at the highest levels to keep their exclusivity for providing services at APM.

I'll post when I hear anything definitive. This subject is of interest to me also with a boat at APM, and I know others on WW are interested also. It could be a crazy year at APM with all of the management changes they have made - too soon to tell if that is crazy good or crazy bad!

Just curious. Would APEX be the same Executive Services under Aramark?
Executive Services is to Wahweap as APEX is to APM. Aramark, who manages Wahweap operates Executive Services at Wahweap; and APM, who manages APM runs APEX at APM.

So the same as the north end which is what i was asking.

Received the following from James Hickman confirming 3rd party services with a CUA (Commercial Use Authorization) can perform work at Antelope Point Marina:

Tom,
Yes, Unlimited Houseboat Services (UHS) can absolutely perform repairs and/or services on your "slipped" houseboat as UHS has a current 2019 Commercial Use Authorization (CUA). I hope this is a clear enough statement for you. Please reach out to me if you have any difficulties in receiving such services in the future.
Thank you

Antelope Point Executive Services (Ray Elshire) says they cannot. Unlimited Houseboat Services (Joan Norgren) says they can.

Which is it??

if you read that it says "slipped"
UHS and APM had a falling out. UHS will no longer be tied to AYS.
Ray is correct in saying that UHS cannot do repairs at APM as he is in charge of all dry dock operations.
if your boat is not in the water, UHS cannot work on it. any boat NOT in a slip has to use APM for repairs.
hope that helps.
