Dolores/San Miguel drainage is over 11,900% of normal! San Juan drainage at over 900% of normal. Granted % can be/is deceiving, but still!

And it's not just Southern Utah, where 1000% of normal could be 1" SWE vs ave of .1", the mountains around SLC, are all over 400%+ of average, some much more.

This warm then cool pattern is great as long as the hot winds don't start suddenly and blow the SWE away as it has some years.

In checking the Colo SNOTEL sites - Wolf Creek Pass @ 11000 ft still has 6.5 feet of snowpack. Most of the San Juans and Grand Mesa have 2.5 - 3.5 ft above 10K. Most of the western slope has melted below 9000. Still almost 1/2 of the snow still to come!! Still guessing 3615 - 3620 but hope for more!!

Plus there is precipitation in the long term forecast, at least up here. Might not contribute much in terms of Acre Feet, but it drastically reduces irrigation withdrawals and evaporation rates....keeps more water in the rivers. My irrigation ditch is running bank full, but nobody is taking water, the ground is soaked!!!
