Do the Li batteries mind cold weather?

Charging a very cold Lifepo4 doesn’t work well. I believe the models designed for cold weather have a built in battery heater, but I don’t know any more than that and it’s not really something I have researched.

After all the research we decided on a couple of brands that were highly recommended. Thats when we found that no one locally carried them, and everything had to be ordered in. The lead times were 10 to 14 days which was not going to work. Plan B, pull the ones out of the motorhome and use them for the trip. That will work and it would give us time to do further research and get all the right stuff for the new Lithium's. Only problem was they were shot too. Ended up buying some at Walmart that were highly rated, that ended up working well. I figured I can pull them out of the boat and use in the motorhome when I get the new ones for the boat.
