Tiff, Perhaps next year -I am based out of Bullfrog and live relatively close (grand Junction ) -- Does the Trash Tracker make it up river ? I would like to volunteer for the future

HI Richard,

Yes, the Trash Tracker does the fall trips out of Bullfrog. This season was completely scrapped, and hopefully we have a 2021 season. Time will tell... If there is a season next year, the new calendar for 2021 would be posted on this link sometime toward the end of this year, and applications are accepted on Feb. 1, 2021. Trips fill up within hours, and there's always a waiting list.

Yes, the Trash Tracker program is a cooperative effort between Aramark and NPS. Aramark covers fuel costs during the season. But since there wasn't a season this year, I decided to still do our scheduled trip with my team. We bought our own trash bags, trash grabbers, and paid for the fuel too. We didn't mind. I clean trash at Lake Powell because I love to give back to my favorite place on the planet. :)

Tiff YOU are a great example to all of us!

Tiff, I assume that there may be a liability problem if one wanted to help but was not one of the chosen few ? - That is---could I come for a day and work alongside the TT team ?

Hmmm... Not sure? Volunteers in Parks are through the NPS. And we sign some paperwork to participate, so I guess it would be join us at your own risk?
