Trachyte Canyon Access

We have a biologist who is wondering what Trachyte Canyon's accessibility is like. Has anyone been up there lately?

It is very accessible from Bullfrog by driving uplake. My guess is you want to know if you can launch at Hite. I do not know that. We stocked some razorback suckers in Farleys Canyon last week so we know you could get a small boat in there but we did not drive down to see if you can access the lake from Farleys canyon. If not, it will happen soon with the lake level now at 3606. I would wait until the Lake is up to 3615 before attempting to launch at Hite. I think some will try sooner and let us know.

Launched in farley on April 21st 6' water at the mouth of the canyon, with rising water should be over 10' deep all the way a trachyte.

Thanks for the confirmation. Now we can advise folks that they can launch in Farleys and access the lake. Hopefully the primitive Hite ramp will be in play next.
