This time of year, the wind, if it is not too bad is a help. You fish the banks the wind is blowing into because that water will be 2 to 3 degrees usually and up to 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the water around that area. When the water is 58 to 60 in the spring in the morning, if you can find 65-degree water somewhere it is usually memorable.
The crankbait in the picture is one of my favorite colors. That color works well on about everything especially stripers and Walleyes. That looked like a Shad Rap XP. Get yourself a couple flicker shad #9s and Flicker minnows #11s, they work really well on the walleyes in the fall.
I will have to disagree with the title of your post. There is no such thing as too many fish.
