Today was the coolest day of the summer. Water temperature did not falter holding at 80-83. Air temperature dropped to 75 this afternoon after the monsoon rain storm fell on Wahweap and Page AZ.
We went uplake early to avoid the crowds and wakes. It was breezy and overcast which led to some interesting scenery. In Padre Bay we saw a rain dog hovering over Gunsight Butte.
Later in the day the overcast broke up and allowed the beautiful white clouds to mingle with the blue water creating some really great scenery shots. If I post any more pictures I would have to move the thread to the fishing board.
