I just gotta ask, what happens to this website when it goes away, and why does it take so long to get back up and Running ?

The wayneswords.com website is operating on older technology that is tricky (if even possible) to update. For that reason, a few years ago we separated the message boards to a newer platform (on wayneswords.net). To my knowledge, the message boards have only been down for a few hours (for patches and upgrades) since that time.
The original site continues to have outages occasionally and we're trying to formulate a strategy to migrate its contents elsewhere, but that takes significant effort. I don't believe there are any thoughts of discontinuing either site. There will always be Lake Powell afficionados willing to keep things running.

It might be on my end . I haven’t been able to log in for a couple days.
The .com site has been down this weekend. Seems to be working now. If you're just looking for the message boards, just switch to .net on the end.
