The flowing river now reaches to The Horn

Had a window seat on a flight from LAX to Denver a few days ago, and had a nice, clear view of the upper end of Lake Powell, posted here. You can see that the flowing river now extends to The Horn, with sediment deposition advancing into Good Hope Bay. As water levels in the reservoir continue to fall over the next year or so, there is likely to be significant sediment re-entrainment and silt deposition south of The Horn, so the assumption is that Good Hope Bay will become steadily shallower. Potentially a replay of what has already happened at Hite. Stay tuned.
