Stanton creek campground

I am coming down to bullfrog this coming weekend. I have never camped in Stanton creek before and was wondering if anyone could give me some information. Are there plenty of spots or should I be concerned about finding a place? Is it more rock or sand? Thanks in advance.

You will be able to find a spot...mostly rock

Thanks for the replies. I have been coming to Powell for years but have never camped at stanton creek. I have to big of group to shuffle everyone up lake. I have been telling my wife that we will be able to find a good spot but for some reason I started to get nervous.

I used to fly my airplane over the lake to find a good spot. Saved me a lot of time driving around in the boat But then again, I live where many of you come to play
Also lucky enough to be able to go out on a Sunday when most everyone else was pulling up stakes and coming in.
Maybe someone needs to start a service like that, fly out and find spots and mark them on a map for customers!
Not me though. I'm RETIRED!
