How close to the water can you get a cabover pickup/camp down the Stanton roads now? Would like to be able to pull the boat up close to camp.

All the way when you go down the road marked “4 X 4” recommend. Full size RV’s and 5th wheel campers are usually all the way down to the water. The road wasn’t bad at all last fall, the last time I was down there. Someone with a more recent report will chime in. Sq

I’m headed down soon and wondering the same. I can’t decide if I should tent camp or bring a camper. Normally we bring campers but not sure how close we can get to the water.

Exactly. For many years, we’ve done Stanton with the campers. For a short few years we had a cabin boat we camped out in the lake. Now back to a boat with/out easy camping. So back to Stanton and campers. IF we can get close enough to the water.
We are headed down tomorrow (Wed. 17). So we will be finding out soon.
