Binks has a striper/wiper/white bass guiding service on Norfolk Lake on the Missouri-Arkansas (mostly in Arkansas) border as well as a tackle business. You can usually read Binks' fishing reports on the Kansas City Star website.

Has anybody tried these yet? I've been hearing good reviews.

We have been going to AR since 03 and have enjoyed the fishing around mountain home. Been with Darrel binks probably six times. Not a fan. Every time it’s is the same story should have been here yesterday. I have had plenty of discussion and pics sent back and forth of him his wife or clients catching one or two 20-40# fish and us with over 100# of 3-5# fish. In the 90 s you could easily catch 12-15# fish at LP.
The spoon is great use it religiously and have given some away on the lake to people not catching fish. Binks technique is deadly at Powell. Last year I started using live bait at AR. 6-8 “ shiners What a kick when the schools come thru rods going off in every holder. Between the stripers and the hybrids “ whipers to us in the west.
