I was on a friend's houseboat yesterday at Scorpion Bay Marina @ Lake Pleasant (Phoenix Area). I asked them if spiders were a huge problem for them down here like it is at Lake Powell. They said it is, but not for them, because they use these things.

Seemed hard to believe, but look at the reviews. Just thought maybe some of you with the spider issues might want to check into something like this.

eurica.jpg A simple way to rid your houseboat or house of spiders without creating a mess or using chemicals is to use a vacuum cleaner. We use a Eureka Mighty Mite, pictured above. It is light, portable, inexpensive, and has a long hose to easily reach ceiling areas. By the time they travel from the nozzle head, down the hose and into the bag they are usually dead. If in doubt, just attach some foil or plastic wrap around the end of the nozzle and secure with a rubber band until the next use.

I have tried using the electronic pest control (different brand) in my house and still would get spiders. hope these are better.
