Bass fishing has been good this week for my wife and i, from Navajo up to Last Chance.
Depending on time fished we have been catching 40--60 Smallmouth per day [ about 10 fish per hour ] with a few Largemouth, Walleye, and Stripers mixed in.
Lots of dinks, but have been catching more 2--3 pounders than in the past, with the larger fish usually caught in deeper water.
Any plastic works , but the best for us has been curly tail grubs in Baby Bass and Natural Shad.
My son in law and 2 friends caught 21 Walleye in the Last Chance area yesterday trolling bottom bouncers.
Thanks to Wayne the Smallmouth quality is definitely improving!
