After the recent storms that rolled thru southwest Colorado the current snowpack is at a whopping 551% in the mountains that feed lake Powell, so unreal to see the mtns this white this late in the year and they are calling for more snow tues and Wednesday this week

Woke up to an inch of white on the ground at 6800' elevation in SW Colorado this morning. Warming weather later in the week could cause problems for some communities. McPhee Reservoir is releasing to the lower Dolores River for rafting, and may do so for a while(2 weeks is planned, but it may increase).
