Laughable stuff wow... I will never understand the concept of killing just to kill. Pisses me off honestly. They do the same thing here in Colorado when dealing with pike and pike are so damn good to eat and amazing fun to catch (sorry most do not know how to fillet one). They say they kill everything else and I say BS ! I will never fillet a "skinny" but I send them back to grow. I also do not harvest over 3lb stripers as I prefer the smaller fillets.

If you see one of the skinny fish you will understand. Multiply that by many thousand. It's a cycle that happens at Powell when the shad population grows so do the striper. They eat themselves out of food.
