Here is a picture I just took from a United flight from San Jose CA back to Denver. On the way to Cali our flight path didn't take us near the lake but on the way back I noticed on the flight map we were closer/on top of it. I opened the window shade and quickly snapped this. I have some great snowcapped Colorado mountain pics and pics of VERY green, lush well watered California as well.

Pretty cool shot of Colorado River entering Lake Powell near the Horn. I think that is Farleys canyon entering on the left. Closest I will be until June!
