Yes, the mileage isn't great, but I only have to travel there once. I'll be able to fish sun up to sun down and beyond once I find them.

I’m curious too what top speed is with that 300 evinrude, what cruise speed is and what kind of mileage you get.

Or were you talking about my truck towing this beast? That was the biggest surprise. I only averaged 8.6mpg towing for the trip. Ouch!!! I might have to look into storage at bullfrog.

I was curious about the boat mileage. I only get about 4 mpg from my 90 hp 2stroke. In a 16 ft boat. That’s why I don’t think it’s too bad

Any chance you will have that boat up on prince will sound around julyish , Cordova area preferably.. will be up there that month for work and could use to go halibut fishing a few days good looking boat there partner

That speed is impressive for that boat, and 30 is probably average cruise speed down there with a chop anyway, it sounds like the perfect setup to me. My TJ will do a little over 40 with the weight I have in it but mileage goes down pretty good after 30 mph but it’s nice to know you have some in reserve if you need it! That looks to be the perfect setup, nice job on the rehab!

I'd love 4 mpg, but I'm happy with 2.6 considering the size and weight.

I was seeing the same thing. MPG dropping to 2.2 above 30 mph and 1.9 at WOT

I forgot to add that I don’t have pictures of large stringers of fish because I was able to set up a table and fillet them while we were fishing and get the meat in the cooler right away. It’s nice having room to work and fish at the same time. The Garmin reactor 40 kicker is a game changer to allow me to multitask as well.

This is what I’ve been using, also good for a backup bilge pump, and cooling off friends.
