The lake level this year has improved a lot. What I haven't seen anyone talk about is sublimation. A lot of the climatologists talk about how the runoff has started earlier and earlier each year, and that the amount of sublimation (solid to gas) has increased dramatically. I believe that this years runoff has been spectacular not only because of the snow pack, but also because of the timing/length of the runoff, and lack of sublimation. If you look at the last 10 years of data, there is only 1 year where the lake was not declining at this point of the season.
