We are planning a trip down the end of April and going up lake toward Good Hope. I am wondering if anyone might have an opinion, I know it all depends on run off, future snow fall, etc. Would be be able to drive in, launch at Blue Notch or would it be better to just put in at Bullfrog and drive the boat and all the equipment up the lake?
Thanks in advance. I'm getting cabin fever.
 
You will be able to drive into Blue Notch. Launching would be over a very steep shoreline which I have seen successfully done and also lots of failures. I have not been to Blue Notch when the Lake level was less than 3595 so there is still 25 feet of unknown territory to cover with a boat and trailer.

My best guess is to just put in at Bullfrog and go fishing instead of having a possible rescue mission on your boat.
