Exactly. Depending on how well I’m able to pull them out of the spiral and get good/straight high resolution .tiff scans, it could turn out well.

It could work, since all the charts are at the same scale. Nice thing about those charts is they show the lake at both 3700 and 3600, which was pretty forward thinking for 1989...

Very interesting history of the lake!

I found these old slides of my Grand Father's that show images from Rainbow Bridge canyon (Forbidding Canyon). He spent a lot of time in Glen Canyon (before it became Lake Powell). I believe this boat dock is in late 1960s or early 1970s, not sure of the year.

Rainbow Marina!!! I broke my leg there when I was 13 trying to fend the boat off the dock when a friend approached too fast ( learned that lesson big time, gelcoat heals with less pain), I had to use two fenders and some duct tape to stabilize it for the VERY long and painful ride back to Wahweap..
