Rivergoer, yes, agree with your assessment, but was it moved there when we hit 3519? I can't recall...(many things)

Would guess if it wasn't, then they anticipated a soon pending rising level......and extrapolating from that (if accurate) would mean they don't now.....

But again.....it's all supposition at this point....

Quick RB dock story: In '78 we were tied up to the dock and a very worn out sunburned tired European couple was walking on the dock looking quite forlorn. The wife & I asked if they were OK, they said they had just hiked in 16 miles from Navajo Mtn, and had been told they could get ice cream at the RB dock...not knowing the dock was not the marina. So we gave them a ride to RB marina, and of course had to join them in 'indulging', then brought them back to the RB dock. We'd never seen 'grownups' so beyond thrilled over an ice cream.....

Sidenote: They told us that all the Americans they'd met on their trip had been nice, friendly & helpful.....we were proud of our fellow Americans......🇺🇲
Another quick RB dock story; 25 or so years ago we were coming into the canyon leading to the docks and came upon a 12 ft skiff with 2 young men aboard out of gas and struggling in the channel wash as tour boats were passing. One of them was frantically pulling the rope on the little outboard as they had just changed gas tanks in a not so good place to be out of fuel. They other young man was was putting on his life jacket and looked rather desperate as he asked me if we could help. I tossed him a rope and we tugged them into the docks and much calmer waters. The first man was still pulling on the outboard's rope, determined to get it started. After a few minutes the little motor started and he thanked us for the tow and told me they had come from all the way from Wahweep and would soon be motoring back after walking to the bridge. They raised up the outboard and low and behold No Propeller! Seems the attaching prop hardware and gone to Davy Jones locker when we towed them in. Whoops! Luckily a tour boat was leaving to go back to Wahweep so they pulled the boat up on the back deck and got a free ride home. All that way in all sorts of channel chop and they didn't get to see Rainbow Bridge
