Questions for Wayne on Federal Shutdown

Wayne,
Is there anyone managing the Fed offices during the shutdown? For all those who are planning fishing tournaments this spring is there a way or a workaround to get federal permits? If you have any information or points of contacts that would be great.
 
I was asked about bass tournaments on Friday and suggested that UT and AZ work together independently until NPS comes back to work. Our SLC staff is mulling this over. I hope the shutdown ends today as DTrump has scheduled a new announcement???? I suspect that UDWR will come up with a plan early next week. I will update you when we have more information.
 
Wayne thanks for the quick reply. With a mid March tournament out of Bullfrog we are very anxious for our politicians to find resolution to this. Without any resolution we are probably just a few weeks from having to cancel or reschedule. I look forward to hearing any follow up you might have.
