Highest inflow in ten years for Powell today and inflow/outflow is equal. Could be the start of rising waters. Optimistic? Maybe.

Looks like one more storm, then a warm and dry pattern. Lets hope that is not the last of the wet storms for the season!

So easy to be selfish and want the melt to start so the cut is open by May 16th for our yearly fishing trip but the real deal is for the lake to get as much water as possible so I'm with Dorado. More More More. Maybe we could have warming and wet..

I just saw on Weather Channel that the NWS released April through June precipitation forecast. Colorado is right in the center of a larger area of above average precip. We can hope that adds to snowpack and dampens the dreaded warm spring winds.
