Been enjoying the unusually warm and dry weather, but thank goodness it looks like there is finally some moisture in the forecast. looks like a series of storms to start next week. Time to start working on that snowpack!

A week ago, we had a pretty good, soaking rain here in Hanksville. Enough so to bring the Dirty Devil up over 500% of average (which really isn't that much this time of year, lol).

We had another little rain yesterday but are completely fogged in this morning which means we are plenty wet and it's staying warm.

But, if you do look at the snowpack, we are off to a really good start. The lowest average is the Gunnison at 100% of average. But if you look at the Old Farmers Almanac, Mother Nature hasn't even begun her winter yet. Many more storms predicted this year.

I personally would love to see another winter like last year. Let's bring her up another 52'.
