Does anybody have photos or video of the Navajo marina that was up the San Juan in the late 80s? I used to have a copy of "Floating Hogans" but lent it to an old Wordling who passed away. Jason's link to time-lapse got me thinking about the old marina. I also plan to drive the FJ Cruiser down Paiute Farms road one of these days, but haven't yet done so. I've seen fairly recent photos of the new waterfall there but I wonder if anything is left of the ramp or buildings. Any pics? On the old WW I remember that someone posted a cool late 80s video of their boat driving the last couple miles up the Juan and pulling into the marina. It's difficult to find info or pics of it in the Net.

Good memories but I don't have any actual evidence of the marina from the 80s. That would be great to view the old video if someone can find it.

I have no idea who posted the video, hopefully he/she is still here. I do remember that 80s swim trunks weren't exactly board shorts.

I fueled up there once fishing the San Juan in the 80's, thought it was the greatest marina ever. Then the lake level dropped in elevation and it was back to the long run to Dangling Rope.
