Padre Cut can be used - Caution

Just to let y'all know, we ran our houseboat thru that cut on May 6th and May 12th. The water was 9 feet deep on the 12th, but the area for it is a bit narrow. Go slow, for everyone's benefit. Be wary of winds pushing you.

Now, maybe it is time for some guiding buoys...

Is Padre Cut the shallow ridge between Padre Butte and the point extending north from Dominguez Butte? Should be about 3 feet deeper when we go through the Friday.

right now the opening on the far right going uplake is good in the middle of it. just passed through yesterday 5/12 with houseboat. now if we could just get the one by camel rock to open it would be great.

I think we need another 25 feet or so for the Gregory Butte south side to open. Oct 2011 was the last time we did it there.
