Playing devils advocate here, if the outdrives, engines, oil, gas etc.. have been removed or diminished over time, what harm does it do other than be unpleasant to look at when water is low. I would imagine that it makes decent fish habitat which is why they leave wrecks in the ocean all the time. Maybe the same reason these ones have not been removed? I am by no means advocating trash on the shores with these comments....
