There have been many times in the past, before the internet and Doppler radar. Dworwood and I based our decision whether to go to Powell or the Gorge on the almanac instead of the weather man. It was right more times than wrong and more times than the weather man was right. Our wives thought we we nuts leaving town in a blizzard ( the jury is still out on the nuts diagnosis) but we had the trip of a lifetime several times because we chose to go and not stay home on the couch.
So fingers crossed! Hope the Almanac is still better than the weather man!

Only the farmers are defunct.........the almanac lives in perpetuity.....near Kanab, if memory serves..........
