Just a quick post. Came down to Wahweap for our annual trip. Got here just after noon. Ran to mm 3 and the dam. One striper at mm 3 and nine at the dam. FYI: cleaning station is closed and no word on when it will be open. I’ll post more later after we finish our trip.

We also fished the dam yesterday morning. Took a while but we got a dozen there. Didnt really start the bite until about 9 AM.
We were at the cleaning station about 1:30 and it was fine for us. Albeit it has been filthy. Someone relieved the stations of all the brushes. I know the one next to the dumpster is still having its usual problems.

I was there yesterday afternoon cleaning fish. One station was working the other plugged up. The smell of dead fish was unbearable coming from the dumpster.

As almost always. They always have problems with the right side one plugging up. Last year they changed a section of pipe down below but it didnt seem to help. You can always tell when the striper bite is on,,,, it always gets plugged up. I think a major cause is the disrespect of usage,,,, but the right one does have some sort of mechanical issue too.
