This study has been quoted in many news outlets recently. University of Washington discovered what we have known for several years, thanks to our resident water gurus, that the snowpack is not producing water in the rivers and reservoirs as it did decades ago. I will take credit for starting a thread back in 2022 asking about this phenomenon and our learned members provided all the data and causes of the recent deficiencies. Now that we have a crisis, it’s headline news.
