Was over at Powell Labor Day weekend thru middle of the week. Striper boils were numerous with best boil activity in mid-afternoon. Camp just north of Good Hope @ head of 4 Mile Canyon and had good boil action between 4 Mile and Hite. Bass fishing was slow for the most part but did catch a few. Used half ounce white Bucktail jigs for striper boils and worked great but didn't have enough, got annihilated after catching so many fish on them.
Hite launch area was fine to launch boat and retrieve. Used the ramp below the concrete ramp with no issues. There was some mud but it seems to be on Hard Rock and they may have possibly dumped some gravel there, not sure if that's something they've done in the past or not. Go enjoy the boils they are lots of fun! Thanks to the WW members for all the info and help on the Hite launch questions I had last week!
