Last trip I caught my very first walleye...I kinda wished I was wearing gloves as I tried picking it up by the mouth. Live and learn!

I had to scream at my mom when she caught her first walleye at Powell a few years ago. She was moving to "lip" the fish to get it in the boat, luckily we were able to stop her. It was a good sized fish and did indeed have teeth as reported.

My son-in-law learned the hard way. It was hard not to laugh. It was the first wally I had ever seen so it coulda been me.

I have a cousin that I took out last year that is 6' 6" that was terrified every time he had a fish on. He was praying it wasn't a walleye. Some funny stuff right there.

My best fishing buddy is a ginger and wears gloves all the time, I get it. And as far as the mask goes, I'm not suggesting that not wearing the mask is a badge of courage, only that the inevitability of getting this flu trumps all the social distancing, masks, sheltering in place, shutting the country down or trying to be a bubble boy. Not trying to be a smart aleck but repeating what many scientists that are way smarter than me think.. Protect the vulnerable elderly that want to be protected..of course, but this disease seems to be way overblown and I won't live like I have been. If I get it, I may not live at all but the numbers are in our favor. I know this is a touchy subject and don't want to offend anyone.
