Going down bullfrog Thur /Sunday. House boating north just past Moki. Hope to talk to some of you down there. Winds look a little tough for Thursday afternoon I'll make sure to put more tie downs on the house boat. Look for us
in a yellow 23 ft Caravelle.

I’m glad you guys did so well on the walleye. We spent a ton of time trying for them in the wrong places. Only boated 5. Still a great time. And like always I have it figured out on my way home.
Still wonder what the fire was. Hopefully not a plane crash. I guess we’d have heard by now if that’s what it was.
Anyway as always great times on the lake!

I did not even think about a plane.
I can’t remember what day it was but there was a little plane flying above the channel one of the days I was there.
But I’m sure you are right, we would have heard of that by now.

When I'd ask my wife: What lure do you want, she'd say: 'The pretty one' and would always out fish me. Call it intuition, woo woo, whatever. It's beyond my left brain capacity......

We were finding them in spots where the depth was 10-20 feet, but had deep water nearby. Got most trolled fish right where the crainkbaits were hitting bottom or coming off the edge. lots of spots were super treacherous. The depth would go from 60+ feet to 5 feet in a short distance that looked good on Navionics, but were too much of a pain to try and troll. My fish finder kept wigging out with the crazy changes. We caught quite a few jigging, but really could not figure out a consistent pattern.

Same here but mine came while bottom bouncing a hammered silver crawler harness at .9 mph.
Same terrain Dorado just described.
Some runs I could have touched rocks with tip of outstretched pole.
Constant reeling up and down to maintain bottom contact.
