Awesome report and pictures as always! Did you guys see many ducks or geese up there? I’m trying to decide if I should go elk hunting this weekend or go blast and cast up north.

My vote would be to thin out those thieving, crapping, obnoxious ravens!

Amazing how much we try to raven proof the camp/boat. Every time we go out fishing they are hopping around on the tables before the boat even starts. Smart, Or habituated? Probably a little bit of both. Last time we were down at Stanton Creek we put our striper scraps on a rock and watched all the turkey vultures fight over them. It was quite a show.
Looks like an awesome trip. Hoping to be in Powell over thanksgiving. Hopefully the fishing is still good. Awesome Walleye.

That first picture......wow. What a Walleye. Looks like some awesome memories.

I thought the same thing on that Walleye. Don't see many like that out of Powell.

Great report. Some of the photos seem to show water that is quite clear. Others seem to show more murky water. Can you share more about that and how/whether it correlated with fishing success?

I wouldn’t say water clarity was the biggest factor, I’d say look for areas where fish can corral shad. Whether that’s ambushing then in shallow water or backs of coves/canyons.
