NO Trash Tracker this year

HI Wordlings,

Sad to report that there will not be a Trash Tracker season this summer. The official email came out on March 12, here is a snippet:

This year presents a unique operational challenge due to Lake Powell water level projections. Glen Canyon facilities staff will be heavily engaged in adjusting boat launch ramps and relocating Aids to Navigation as conditions continue to change. Due to significant operational demands this summer, the program will be paused for the 2026 season.

Needless to say, I'm super disappointed and I personally feel that with the coming lower water, it's a PERFECT time to get out there and clean up the newly exposed trash...

So, I know that each of us will get out there and pick up after the slobs, and thank you all in advance.

I wonder how many sunk boats are going to pop up this year?
