Hello, Im newly retired and looking to plan a Camping trip on the shores of Powell. The problem seems to be that the marinas no longer rent the small 16 foot /25hp fishing boats. I would like to pitch a tent on the shoreline of Powell , but don't want to spend a fortune (350 dollars a day) for boat. Don't get me wrong I have spent a few Houseboat trips on Powell, but want the Extream adventure of doing what we don't do anymore. True Camping and mixing in some fishing and hiking.
The real question is " where can someone rent a boat from a private owner for a reasonable price. 5 to 7 day at a time? Any Ideas?
