New to Lake Powell

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Lake Powell. My wife and I have been working around Bullfrog/Hall's Crossing for about a month and a half, and in a couple weeks we'll be heading up to the north side of the lake. Just wondering what you guys recommend checking out around the Hite area. My wife likes to fish (I do not) and we both enjoy hiking. Any good trails that are a must see?
 
Welcome to the site. I am not familiar with that area, but I know that many other do. I am retiring soon and looking forward to discovering that end of the lake.
 
The Defiance House Anasazi ruins provide a relatively easy hike with ruins at the end.
The ruins are in Forgotten Canyon about 12 to 15 miles north of Halls Marina.
You’re probably aware but the water is too low to get to Hite by boat
