New secret lure

I met fellow fisherman at a garage sale this weekend. He has just got back from Lake Powell. His new secret lure is the 6th Sense Pro Voke Series color blue scales. ( 3 treble hook) He said that the bass just loved them. I of course ordered 4 of them for my OCT trip. DennisJ from Junction

I hope it works great for you and becomes your new favorite. I’ve found the trouble with new lures is that I’ve got several thousand dollars worth of them that catch fishermen.

There is something to that statement. However on our trip to Powell last month I read a post from the other Dennis J from Junction where he suggested trolling near the Moike wall with Rapala #14 Down Deep Husky Jerk in glass minnow color. We used that lure at that location and the stripers just hammered that lure. We had many double hook ups. But then on that same trip my Son Mark caught Bass and Stripers for 2 days on a single lure. a chartruse single tail grub. Dennis J from Junction

That Rapala and Storm deep Thunderstick metallic blue are my 2 favorites for trolling @Dennis Jarvis I'm glad you got into em there. We also doubled many times on that point.

Not that I'm a big fishermen, but in the spring I know in the past casting into the shore the bass really like the Ned Rig...
