this is great, anyone know if the camera is actually in the dock at halls or located somewhere else? I see the ferry going by but i'm confused on why the ferry would be going by the dock. I thought the ferry was north of halls? is the camera looking straight at the entrance to halls bay?

I think that the ferry is using the main launch ramp at Halls Crossing, and probably using the executive ramp at Bullfrog.

This weekend I saw they are working on the halls ferry ramp with a loader and excavator. I assume they are working towards extending it. Just an assumption.
I didn't pay much attention to the work they had done(no one was working at the time) other than new cable anchors for the courtesy dock and barricades moving around. I'm no construction guy, but if I was going to extend a ramp it would probably be one that is out of the water as opposed to one that won't be out of the water for months(hopefully never). Now widening it at the bottom might be a good idea as it might be the only access to the lake come August.

To clarify I'm referring to the ramp to the east of halls. The main halls ferry ramp. I didn't study what they were doing as I drove by because there were fish to catch but they were moving sand at what looked to be the bottom of the paved ramp and trucking it out.
