I bought a helix 10 in early Dec. and started looking for a mount so I could put it on the bow of the boat. I bought a Universal “D” ball mount but was kind of skeptical of the product since they also build “cheater” handles to really tighten them down. I came across a thread on Walleye
Central where a few folks mentioned the quality of a Cisco mount, especially for the bigger heavier finders . Every commenter stated on how their graph did not move even in rough water. I chased that thread, user reviews, and visited the Cisco Fishing Systems website. They are a family owned company based in Cleveland. I ended up sending the universal ram mount back and ordered a Cisco mount and some track. I received my order the other day and have absolutely no regrets. Both the mount and track are premium quality. Machined aluminum, all stainless steel hardware included. Even the packaging was 5 stars! The track was wrapped with paper and in a thermo sealed plastic sleeve. The finder was bubble wrapped and came a plate for permanant mounting and a plate for track mounting. Even the bolts, washers, lock nuts, and machined thumb screws were in heavy mill plastic and thermo sealed. Enclosed are some pictures. I have no ties with Cisco but put this review out there because I like quality stuff believe it will be the last mount I will ever have to buy. Unless I get another finder of course! The company makes all kinds of fishing paraphernalia and has accessories that fit Lund tracks and Tracker tracks. 5884D841-1E7E-4401-985C-CA1D87768DF8.jpeg8E338510-3132-49EB-B95D-C68A02530FBB.jpeg995A45AC-932B-442F-96A5-F933341D4F7C.jpeg

Will post a pic after getting it set up. Google: Cisco Fishing Systems. Nice folks, long term employees, Brown’s fans thru thick and thin, and an easy to negotiate website. If you call, Kate will answer and usually you can hear the machine shop in the background. Some of their items have a lifetime warranty to the original buyer. The gimbal plate fits HB, and many other finders without drilling any more holes. 1/4” 6065 on plates and track.

I finally found some time to get the TM and new finder mounted. Still kind of primitive but it will work until down time next winter. I would like to utilize that space under the bow for storage for rope, fenders, or something. I did make a bracket that bolted to the plate to hold the plug in from moving. It works great, absolutely no movement on electronic connections. There is also a track on the floor for the finder if needed. The 10 inch finder is heavy but this mount is bulletproof. I would definitely recommend this mount for those of you who have bigger finders. 1951052C-D17D-4FA3-9753-9829C4B96FB2.jpeg
