Minimum launch capability at Stateline?

Exactly! Unhooking and floating the slips to deeper water is "no big deal" compared to creating the infrastructure to access and then have full functional use of the slips and new ramp in their new locations
 
Depending on the size of the boat we have shore launched boats at hobie cat beach and down stanton on the 4x4 road. Biggest boat i remember was a 19' cabin boat that probably weighed 3500lbs with trailer. We did have extra trucks with straps to yank out if needed, but managed without.

This was done a few times now in the last 3 years.

I hope it doesn’t come to that but I’m not optimistic. See the thread I just posted about NPS plans this year.

Shore launching my summer boat sounds like a great way to bend axles. Smaller boats maybe.

I was pleasantly surprised by the grade at both. However we did walk out to about waist to chest deep to find any obstacles.

When water levels get low its a good time to inspect the shore for spots to launch on the rebound.... depending on how low we get. This is what we would do when we would launch up north near GHB.

I dont like shore launching on a dropping lake level for the obvious reasons.

The problem is we are likely to see lows we have never seen before. You will be shore launching into unknown obstructions. Some kind of scouting by NPS needs to happen and a temporary solution needs to be developed. There is too much risk involved for all users on the north end.
